Things to do in Cardiff

As Newbie continues its two-month journey across the UK, we wanted to share our top tips of things to do in Cardiff. So far, Newbie has visited Milton Keynes, Leeds, Manchester & Birmingham with future visits to Bristol, Sheffield, London & Cornwall.

NEWBIE ON TOUR

Newbie is set to explore the UK this summer as we embark on a two-month journey across the country!  Newbie is travelling the UK in a Newbie designed air-stream.  The two-month tour includes free to attend events that nod to our Swedish heritage, as well as providing classic family fun and activities. From traditional Swedish lawn games and fika, to face painting, flower crown making and sing-and-sign classes, we’re welcoming the whole family to join us and enjoy what’s on offer.

Newbie on Tour will be visiting Cardiff, Central Way between 18th – 21st July.

 

AQUA PARK

Head out to the beautiful Cardiff Bay and take on the giant floating obstacle course at Aqua Cardiff Bay.  With more than 50 exciting obstacles, Aqua Park is the perfect activity for the summer holidays. 

DYFFRYN GARDENS

Enjoy a fun-packed day at Dyffryn Gardens – explore 55 acres of beautiful gardens, featuring a humongous, ½ acre, wild play area for your kids.  Take the chance to explore Dyffryn House as well.



TREETOP ADVENTURE GOLF

Tee off at Treetop Adventure Golf in a themes tropical rain forest.  The animals come alive as you play your best shots.

 

THE ROYAL MINT EXPERIENCE

Take the kids to the Royal Mint Experience, one of the UK’s most fascinating attractions, and witness the UK’s coins being made.  You’ll start off with a 45-minute guided tour of the factory, which produces the staggering 750 coins a minute.  You can also make your own coins for a small fee.
